Lake is
located in the center of our fine city and is one of the towns major
resources. This 2,092 acre lake has miles of shoreline and is touted as one
of the best fishing lakes around, summer or winter.
The Historic "Main Street" has a "Norman Rockwell" flavor,
with its deco sign over the "Main Street Theatre". We also have many
historic turn of the century buildings lining our main street that provide
an ambiance for shopping, eating, or walking. If golfing is one of your sports,
Sauk Centre has three courses to
choose from. The "Lynx National Golf Course" offers open vistas with prairie
grasses and water systems. The challenging "Greystone" is
a Tom Lehman designed course and features large greens, many
sand traps, water ponds and wooded lined fairways. The city also has the
original 9 hole course that is located overlooking Sauk Lake.
